Známý restaurátor amerických letedel Chuck Wahl ( WAHL CHARLES, CAMERON PARK ) mě požádal o postavení Corsaira, kterého vlastní a právě ho restauruje.
Jedná se o F4U-1 BuNo 02449 který patřil VMF-214 a havaroval 1.10.1943.
Použiju Eduard motor, kola. HGW wet transfery a samozřekmě barvy Mr.Paint.
Dostal jsem veškerou specifikaci barev a to velmi překvapivou. Potvrzuje doměnky, že ne všichni Birdcage měly kokpit Dark Dull Green.
Zatím není jasné číslo, ale brzy budou podklady i naněj.
